My H1 stamping has expired. I have traveled using AP before. Just wanted to know if anyone traveled back with AP via Brussels?
Email I received from Belgium consulate just says "Indian nationals do not need transit visa". I am sure it means they do not bother about H1/AP as long as you have legal entry for the destination. Just wanted to re-check.

The New York Times carried on its front page this morning a Nina Bernstein article that will no doubt cause a shake up at Immigration and Customs Enforcement over what can only be described as a major scandal in the way the agency has dealt with sick detainees at the agency's detention facilities around the country. The details described by Bernstein will no doubt enrage you. The obvious monumental effort Ms. Bernstein put in to bringing this story will also likely move her on to the short list for a Pulitzer Prize for this hard-hitting piece of journalism.

What documents do they need to furnish ?
As I understand there are a lot of ppl who come to the US who do not have kids/relatives here, what do they have to show if they are just coming to the US for a Visit not work related ?

It seems quite a few individuals with older priority dates from 2003 & 2004 are still waiting for a decision on their RiR cases (both state and regional) from Dallas BEC. It has been recently reported that many of these cases have received RFE's from BEC on a variety of issues (they might also have had an RFE at state or regional). I think it would be advantageous for all of us in similar situation if we can anonymously post the type of RFE's we receive and possible ramifactions for the same.
If some one knows of a similar thread elsewhere please provide a link, that way we can avoid duplicates.

Hi for IRS n Tax purposes you are a resident alien (even though you may be a non-immigrant h1b or using EAD) that is different.
This form is not applicable to you. Tell the credit union that you are resident alien and then they will understand.
No need to fill this form.
Instead you need to apply for TIN (Tax Payer Identification Number) Form W-9 for your wife and get a TIN and use that TIN while adding as a dependent.
You can either file the TIN yourself or go to HnR block or some other service. Usually they file for TIN while filing tax return...

Can someone give me the site where i can get the current processing dates for PERM?
The Labour certification is going to be filed this month end, in that case how long i have to wait to file I140?
Also i heared that I140 and 485 can be filed together.
Is that true? if so what is required from my side to the attorney for those two stages.
