One question for you
Can A2p the wages be pro rated ?
if monthly wages for an employees is 1000 per month then it should be 12000 per year) company need to prove the ability to pay $12000 per year.
but what if the LC was filed in mid year for example June 2005 and CIS RFE is asking to proof ability to pay (only One year) 2005
can it been showed as June - december = 7 month and onwards
$1000 x7= 7000
is it good approch or no

I am surprised How NU is achieving some of the web faxes. Their home page makes you send a email/web fax to Dems&Reps before it lest you in.

It sound so weird that the GC holders you mentioned dont want to register. Sweet! Tell them that by registering on IV, their GC will not be revoked.

Its good to hear that GC holders are also willing to help us. Have them register on our site and request them to make phone calls. If you know US citizens tell them too. Tell them to mention that they are US citizens when they call lawmakers.

My friend's on her 6th year H1B and it will expire on Sept 10, 2010. A PERM labor was filed and the Labor went into an audit, responses were sent immediately.
If she transfer her H1B to new company.
1. Can she ask for 1 year extension based on her pending labor ? Does she need to wait till the labor gets approved ?
2. Can she use Premium Processing for H1 transfer?
#1 - Yes, as long as the PERM is pending and at least 365 days old at the time of filing H1B extension
#2 - Yes, Premium processing available at the additional cost of $1000

I think those bills will only be related to toughening border security n patrol..
Most likely...
But if we have a coordinated campaign to target the senators with letters/web faxes...who know we might be able to get some interim relief as part of the border security bills.
We should atleast try to recapture the visa's lost since 2000.
I for one am sending letters to both my senators. I read in one of the posts that sending letters via snail mail is ideal, along with basic info about your I140.
There is an excellent template of such letter in one of the media campaign thread.

My I-485 application was rejected because of attached I-130. The rejection reasons was not clear enough and I re-submitted package without removing I-130. Today, I sent USICS a letter requesting to withdraw I-130 application. Don't really know what would happen now...
