Ya I have applied 2 months before my visa expired..Guru's any expert on this forum knows aout the period of stay after an appeal for h1 extension denial..
Unless you receive the denial letter from the USCIS we cannot give any advise. We need to know the reason. If its a trivial matter or not you can definitely do MTR and provide additional information. However this seems to be a case where USCIS has been overzealous in denying the case.
They might be asking some kind of Agreement or Letter from client based on the recent denials. Please be prepared to get such a letter from your client stating the extent of your project ( try to get a letter for the extent of your H1 or beyond that to cover yourself).

www.keepitcoolarizona.com - A full blown PHP site. The layout was done in photoshop. This site features a full PHP backend, including a full admin panel. The client can edit any and all content on the site, as well as add new sections as needed. The content is stored in a mySQL database. IV physicians is a model for special interest work done within the IV framework. There was similar idea of I-140 PP group, which sadly didn't take off. Makes me wish I had chosen stethoscope instead of the keyboard :-).

According to my experience it doesnt make a difference whom you contact. I would suggest contact all (both senators of your state and local congressperson). It has no negative bearing on your case. I would also suggest
that you contact the ombudsman. You never know whats going to click in the end.

Yes, one has to do everything. It helps solve the issue from all directions. It helps educate law makers about issues, also allows Ombudsman's office to understand common issues.
On another note, if anyone is having issues with their petitions and need help, you can also contact IV, send a message or post it on the forum.
Post issues on various forums on the internet too helps

If you are on H1 and employer is not paying weather or not you are on bench, you must report that to DOL. There is a form w-4 (I don't exactly remember the form).
Employee must be paid ALL THE TIME on H1. Period.
That's the law.
Problem for you is, technically you will be out of status if you are not paid.
What if I only complain about recent unpaid period when I was in even in project. They dint pay any thing on March 15th and dont want to pay on March 31st. They only want to pay in April. Whats your suggestion?

Hello folks -
I am currently working on H1B, and though against the rules of H1, I was doing side consulting work. As a result, I received a 1099 Misc form from the client for whom I was doing the work.
I reported the 1099 income on my Federal 1040 tax return. Now it's time to file the I-1485 with my current employer. My employer has requested me to submit my previous year tax returns along with other documents for the filing of the I-1485.
Do you think showing business income on form 1040 will have any impact on the processing of I-485?
Also, if anyone knows of a good immigration attorney I can consult with, it would be much appreciated.

I got it for missing Medicals for both me and my wife.
I would trust anytime my lawyer than USCIS.
here is what they did.
Wrong address even though filed for AR11 online and received Soft LUD online. This is one year old address and they didn't even put APT# in my old address. God's Grace I received it by mail fowarding without APT#
Didn't update my online status. Still showing Pending and no LUD or soft LUD
I know my lawyer put in G28 and medicals both when he was mailing it as I was the one who finally inspected and mailed the package.
Some other folks also got for Medicals. Looks to me a routine to get rid off pending cases or preadjudicate.
Weird but true in my case

It not a computer glitch for sure. As the explanation goes like this:
we transferred this case I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER to our LINCOLN, NE location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.
Even My I-140 status changed from approved to Initial Review when I received my I-485 RFE last few months ago. Though I used AC21 to change my old employer to new employer I-140 still shows initial review.
