HR of my Company screwed up with the content of the EB2 Ad posted in sunday newspaper. To save money they posted a partial AD with a link to the job listing on the companys website saying "Please goto this link for further information".....
Would this be ok?
If the company is paying the lawyer for the process, you just relax. They must have consulted the lawer before giving the ad and get directions, because the lawyer has to send these evidences when filing.
If not, you better check with an expert.

My current H1 B expires on July 31 2011. With this I will be exhausting my renewals quota as my sponsoring company Wipro has not initiated GC process. Also when my last renewal was done, a mistake was done by Wipro Visa office. My first entry to US was in Aug 2004. After that I had gone out of US in Aug 2005 for 1 month vacation and returned in Sept 2005. Each time when we file for extensions, we give all the entry and exit dates. The Wipro visa office had incorrectly entered my first entry into US as Sept 2005 even though it should have been Aug 2004. Based on this they renewed my petition till July 31 2011. If we calculate now, it turns out to be the seventh year on H1. When I tried to change my employer this year, they looked at these details and informed that if I start GC process now, they will definitely calculate my dates and find out that I am in the 7th year of H1 without GC initiation. So they told it will cause issues and it would be better for me to leave the country after July 31 2011, wait for 1 year, sponsor a new H1 and then come back.
Is there any alternative I have here? Thanks for offering help.

If wife name is not mentioned what is the consequence?
I just checked mine, my wife name was mentioned but my son wasnt, and we applied his 485 without any problems, so i think you should not have any problems as long as you file her 485 with marriage certificate before your 485 is approved.

Me and spouse got the "Card production ordered" and "Welcome notice" emails today morning.
Here is the journey:
Nov.2002 - RIR Labor filed in CA
June 2006 - Labor approved from Phily BEC
July 2006 - I-485 , I-140 filed at TSC
Sept.2006 - I-140 approved
Got stuck in namecheck ( name check may be still pending )
May 20, 2008 - RFE received for missing TB Skin test ( doctor screwed up)
June 4, 2008 - Responded to RFE
June 16, 2008 - Green card approved
Now, waiting for the actual card to arrive.

I've been doing some research and It looks like I'm might have to file amended I-140 concurrently with my I-485.

dont worry about it. As long as you can prove that you have been treated/or under treatment, this will not hold your application. This will increase / slightly delay your initial application , but otherwise u shouldnt have any problems

Mail it in, if it's rejected you do not lose anything. According to the law (8 USC 1255) the USCIS should accept it.
Not according to this:

Hello,
Could anyone please suggest me a few consulting companies who can sponsor H1B visa? I am trying to bring my friend who is in India working for an automotive OEM. He was in Michigan for a while and he went back to India and it�s been almost more than 7 years since he left but now he wants to come back to Michigan.
If anyone knows any consultants in Michigan would be perfect since I already have a job lined up (verbally) through my contacts but I am not successful finding an employer who can sponsor H1B for him.

Why are you going to other forums for advice. Those other forums are after making money from traffic and ads. They want you to suffer as long as possible so that they make money. Folks make sure the A number is same in both applications, if they are different USCIS puts it aside and will not process, I found out today while getting my address verified with USCIS IO, they had entered my address wrongly.
WHile checking the IO said it was good that my wife's derivate app under me, and her self 485 App A numbers match. Otherwise, they put it in pending state forever.
I am still in a confused state.IV friends continue to neglect my threads.:D.
I was in L2 EAD and had a A# starting with 1 .Now after filing for GC all my receipt notices have a different A# starting with"0"."Alien number is something like SSN " was my persumption.I had also filled in the applications for GC using the L2 EAD alien number.Attorney never replies.Totally confused.:confused:
