Hi, I run Snow Leopard natively on my MBP, and have installed Windows 7 on bootcamp.
So, i boot into Win7 and i can read files on my Mac partition but i cant edit/ write to them.
I was wondering if there was any way to edit/write files on Mac partition while being in Win7 partition.
I've done my search and found MacDrive to be an option, but it costs a lot where i'm from. Are there any free alternatives?
Thanks :)

Not meant to boast but that article is written by me, thus the referral to the MR thread :)
Great article Hellhammer, I have the slower TS128. It bothered me when I first came across your post about the difference in speed, the day I got my machine. being I had the slower one. But in reality this machine seems super fast as is. No regrets. If OWC ever works out the sleeping problem and lower the cost of the drives by half. I would upgrade:D
Thank you for keeping us well informed;)

Is that right? I've just got a replacement and it's saying a capacity of 12.1GB? I know on previous ones it's said ~14GB?
Hmm, check if anything is installed or if you accidentally synced it. You are correct, it should have about 14GB free.

The shopping cart system I used for my wife's and my shop (A Trade For A Trade (http://www.atradeforatrade.com)) is OpenCart (http://www.opencart.com). I think it has the best code structure and admin panel design, so I also use when designing e-commerce shops for clients. In terms of your concerns:
1. OpenCart does have a template system, although it's not Smarty-based. It's pretty easy to learn though, as it's just HTML and PHP. Templates are uploaded via FTP and then you can switch between them via the admin.
2. OpenCart has many self-contained extensions, and some that require code edits. However, the recently-released vQmod (http://www.vqmod.com) system now allows for extensions that modify the code without actually modifying it. Extensions aren't installed through the admin like WordPress, but most well-written extensions are just upload-and-go.
I don't know if you'll find it the best fit, but that's my recommendation.

not to surprised by this. The Best Buy around where I lived took a hammering from Fries when it opened up. Fries s bigger and has a wider selection of the things i am generally looking for so I tend to go there.

Yep, I'm with you on that. It already bugs me that my Prius has a black box for accidents and a GPS built in (for the nav system.) Why do we *trust* this government to not ask companies to turn that information over (just like they asked for our phone records) and for these corporations getting billions in tax incentives to eagerly comply? Now if you carry a GPS, government will be able to know where you are at any moment. I'm not buying it unless Apple includes a pledge with the product that they will fight to protect my legal rights if any government agency asks for these records without probable cause.
Um hello...
GPS units do NOT broadcast out to the world your location. They recieve only.
Now, your cell phone broadcasts out your location to the world, but you don't seem too worried about that now do ya?
Now, if indeed this is an iPhone, then you're already broadcasting your location so who cares... but GPS units all by themselves only receive signals from satelites.

They don't look italicized to me unless I am looking in the wrong place.
Oh my bad, I didn't clarify! It's the links and fourm topic on the main page of macrumors. I'll check tonight on my Mac and see if it's just the (PoS) PC I'm using.

*I just copied and pasted what I have for my auction on eBay.
Up for sale is a USED 8GB Apple iPhone. All the Apple Stores nationwide and some stores overseas are all sold out of the iPhone. There are minor scratches on the the chorme trim on the side and small scratches on the Apple logo on the back. Other than that this iPhone is in great condition.
This iPhone IS UNLOCKED AND JAILBROKEN. You can use it with any GSM network. The Installer app is up and running. I haven't added any apps on the iPhone so I'll leave it up to you on what you want to install. If you want, I have a wide music selection and a few movies I can upload on the iPhone for free if you want me to.
AppleCare is still valid until November 2008. You can buy additional coverage as long as it's before the expiration date of the original warranty.
Items that are included in the sale are:
-Original Unlocked & Jailbroken 8GB iPhone
-Headset w/mic
-USB Cord
-USB Power Adapter
-Original iPhone dock
-InCase Skin Cover
-Original documentation, stickers, and cleaning cloth.
PayPal preferred but will consider other payment options. I'm looking to sell around $375 OBO (ORIGINAL POST WAS SET AT $450). Shipping varies by location.
Is the warrant still valid if its jailbroken and unlocked?

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but WoW has UI scaling under the video options. Try it out yourself to see resolution independant UI in action.

So questions about the sensors on the 2010 Mac Mini.
Are the 2 sensors on the hard drive the same part.
Being the idiot that I am, I broke the sensor that mounts on the hard drive its self. I have been looking for a part number or part to order and the only thing I can come up with is
Apple Part #: 076-1360
****After 45 minutes with a call center in India they are saying the sensor is part number 076-1369...any thought?
Now this sensor is the one that mounts on the sata conector...any ideas if it will work for the back as well?
My fan is running at a constant speed ot 5500rpm....at least I know it will stay cool.
Oh and by the way, I replaced my stock Toshiba 320gb 5400rpm drive with a Hitachi 7k5...WOW amazing upgrade. I clocked a direct copy of a file that was 2.29gb and the Toshiba was 2min55sec and the Hitachi did it in 1min1sec... 2 minutes FASTER!
I need help ASAP as this is my main machine right now.

whats the risk if there isnt a backup?
You're not telling me that you don't have a backup, do you? ;)
Risks involved?
Data loss, business disruption, loss of business.
Seriously, if that machine is a corporate server, back it up! Backups in enterprise environments are even more important than for private users.
