After seeing this type of RFE, it looks like IO comes under EB10 category but fortunately/ unfortunately EB10 does not exist that’s why they fall under citizen category.

My PD is 2006 (EB2-India). I have approved I-140 under eb2 category. My wife is in AOS status. I am planning to file new I-140 under EB1 (for which I am qualified). If for some reason, my I-140(EB1) gets denied, will that affect my I-485 under EB2? Please share your thoughts.

Hi All,
I have been following the postings on this forum. I appreciate all the hard work the core group is doing. I also appreciate the active participation by all members in answering/discussing the forum topics.
I have contributed a one time $200.00 in support and would contribute more and request every one to support in there capacity.
Every one needs PR status, but in my case, the need is more for my wife, because of the reason that she wants to pursue her medical residency here.
I sometimes wonder and sometimes I feel like going back to India, work for my present company for 1 year, come back here on a managerial/executive position on L1 along with my wife and apply for Perm in Eb1 cat...this said is all my thought!
This would enable my wife to get work permit as L1 dependent and an eventually a residency position in a good univ and a current 1-485 status.
Only thing though is my wife would need to attend interviews.
Any suggestions/feedback will help me and all other people in this situation.

My case is transfered to from NSC to CSC on 09/07, California Service center.
I live in california, and my employer too in California.
Do you guys know the Fate of CSC transfred people like us.Will they transfer back to NSC..
Do you huys know any future cases like this wht we have current situation.

Words in CIR are supporting high skilled. At the same time Schumer mentioned that they will not allow companies to replace Americans with lower wage foreign workers. You can easily get the meaning of it. First CIR need to be introduced. And it needs to seen What CIR will offer for high skilled immigrants. Many lobbying groups waiting with laundry list of demands for them. Basically every group wants unlimited guest workers and green cards. Someone in congress has to take leadeship initiatives without politics and without any bias. Then only CIR is feasible
If you see the political realities, Obama has lost a lot of political capital on health care.
Plus something I mentioned before: Schumer is a senator. CIR faces main opposition
in the Congress and not Senate.
You are right that many interest groups are lobbying for themselves. That is where EBs are at a disadvantage.
Just check www.ilw.com. Everyday there are articles wailing the plight of illegals but not a peep about
skilled immigrants.
