I have the originals (got a bunch of them straight from Apple when they were new) and yes, the Ghandi one has the copywriter notice in the bottom right corner.

FWIW, from the tubes that I've opened so far, I know that the following do have the notice: Jim Henson & Kermit, Amelia Earhart, Desi and Lucy, Alfred Hitchcock, Picaso and

In fact, the only one I've found that doesn't is the Ansel Adams one.

My tubes of the series that include Feynman and Einstein are still sealed so I can't attest to those.

I like 1Password (http://agilebits.com/products/1Password/Mac) for archiving my serial numbers and other passwords. You can even store the email in 1Password as reference.



How do you use 1Password to store email? I own 1Password. Never knew it did that.

I'm trying to work this out from the Apple site but am banging my head against a brick wall.

My friend at work is wanting to buy a Mac and some other bits from Apple for his kids to use. One is at Junior School and one at Secondary School..... do they qualify for the Educational Discount??

Everything I see on the Apple website says "I'm over 18..."

I know that most will probably never use it (just like gmail), but with all their other services (gallery, blog, hosting etc) the bandwidth and disk usage must be HUGE!

So Office 2004 AppleScript can translate VB on the fly (and 2007 VB can translate AppleScript), or that's the goal and we aren't there yet?



Unfortunately, no. It needs someone (an AppleScripter who knows VBA) to do the translating. But time will tell if some of this can be done instead in the XML, which would be cross-platform for the new files.

Asleep on a buddies futon in LA. He came in, woke me up, told me what happened and turned on the TV. He saw 2nd plane hit the tower live and that's when he woke me up.

I basically stayed glued to the news and internet sites/forums the whole day.

you have to stop thinking in computer terms and do it in video terms, I guess your project is for broadcast so you have to render at D1 pal resolution at 25fps

Hey all,

My boss is having an issue with his MacBook and InDesign.

First off let me say that we have CS4 installed on both the aformentioned MacBook as well as a new iMac we purchased for the office. But here's the deal, as soon as we start up InDesign on the MacBook after JUST MOVING THE MOUSE i get the "color wheel" and it just FREEZES and it stays there for ever, i let it "load" for about 5-10, even 20 minutes!

So I updated the software on the MacBook, updated the software on CS4- still the same problem.

Then, I UNINSTALLED CS4 on the MacBook, then Re-Installed it, just to have the same exact problem.

All my CS programs work perfectly fine on our iMac, but JUST InDesign doesnt work on the laptop. PLEASE HELP :(

I guess my question is :
1) Has this ever happened to any of you?
2) Is there a common solution to this problem?
3) Is there a phone number i can call for trouble shooting Adobe products? (i cannot seem to locate one on my CS4 disc or case)

Yeah, just leave it open. Perhaps you are under the windows mentality that it is bad to leave apps open.

You can set it to chime as well when new mail arrives.

I don't think that will work. The MacPro uses ECC (error checking) ram. What you're looking at is Non-ECC . Here is a link to Crucial's 2010 Quad Mac Pro page. I've used them quite a few times and have never had any issues.
The link is to the U.S. Site but you can click over to the EU or British site in the upper right corner.
